More than 50 years of combined education experience in Atlanta

Education Connection is a unique partnership of two professionals with more than 50 years of combined experience working in education in Atlanta. Our individual talents and expertise form an innovative team approach that serves the metropolitan area’s children and their families.

Barbara W. Levy, M.Ed. has been in private practice for many years, specializing in school placement, educational counseling, tutoring and SSAT testing. Her experience includes teaching at The Lovett School; serving as a counselor and consultant to a preschool and pediatric practice; directing a parent infant program; teaching college courses in child development; and serving as the executive director of an educational non-profit affiliated with The Westminster Schools. She received a Masters of Education in guidance and counseling from the University of Michigan.

Fontaine Draper was Director of Admission at The Lovett School in Atlanta from 1983 to 2001. She has been board member and president of The Secondary School Admission Test Board; chair of the Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools admission organization; and she has served on the faculty of the National Association of Independent Schools Workshop for Admission Directors. She is the recipient of the William B. Bretnall award for her exemplary contribution to the field of independent school admissions.
